The Azumi AZS2RE flute features a S-cut head joint, which gives the embouchure hole an oval shape. The Altus head joint has been made from Britannia silver and finished with a sterling silver lip plate and embouchure hole, completing a uniquely capable instrument considering the price. This flute also boasts an E-mechanism, an offset G-key and a C-foot joint with open keys.

The Azumi AZS2RE: Controlled Response & Timbre

The open keys support a more controlled playing feel but can be closed as needed using the included set of silicon caps. The silver alloy body, meanwhile, coupled with the C-foot joint results in a fast response and light timbre. As well as a polishing cloth and cleaning rod, the Azumi AZS2RE flute comes pre-packed inside a velvet lined case.
